Gut Health & Menopause From a Functional Nutrition Approach with Geeta Sethi, RHN

Dilyana is excited to welcome Geeta Sethi, RHN to the podcast for an educational look at fostering gut health during the menopausal years. Geeta was born and raised in India in a traditional household filled with the ancient wisdom of her culture. After the sudden passing of her husband in 2011, Geeta had an awakening and started supporting her body with natural remedies and diet while pursuing deeper healing for trauma. Learning to eat what worked for her body Geeta also learned how to sustain a holistic lifestyle. The more Geeta ate real foods prepared in ways that supported the individual body constitution, the more she progressed towards naturally healing, and the more she wanted to share her insights with others. 

 

Now Geeta practices as a Functional Nutritionist and Lifestyle Practitioner helping women to develop the insights necessary to live their fullest lifestyle using nutrition and lifestyle rather than just relying on symptomatic relief that is offered today by most traditional practitioners. In this episode Dilyana and Geeta discuss the many challenges that women face in the menopausal years. Geeta addresses the basics of good gut health while pointing out some of the natural changes in lifestyle and diet that can help women to develop the conditions for a healthy microbiome and overall gut health.
