This week, Dilyana is honored to welcome Dr. Daved Rosensweet to the podcast for an in-depth discussion on the benefits of hormone therapy during the menopausal years. Dr. Rosensweet is a private medical practitioner with offices in Florida, New Mexico, California, and Colorado. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1968 and has had a long and distinguished medical career. In the early days of his practice, he trained the first nurse practitioners in the United States and was responsible for health promotion in New Mexico. Dr. Rosensweet is a renowned speaker and lecturer at various medical conferences such as The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, The American College for Advancement in Medicine, and The Age Management Medicine Group. 
Dr. Rosensweet is also the founder of The Menopause Method and The Institute of BioIdentical Medicine, where he has trained thousands of medical professionals to use cBHRT effectively. His protocol has been used to treat over 12,000 women. In 2019, he was invited to speak in front of The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine on “The Safety and Efficacy of Bioidentical Hormones.” 
In this episode, Dr. Daved lays out a comprehensive roadmap tracking the many misconceptions about the benefits of hormone therapy and why doubts continue to linger in the public’s mind. He addresses his evaluation process for potential candidates while also exploring the many different types of therapy and treatments available. In addition, Dilyana and Dr. Daved address the many roadblocks that exist for those living in Canada and other countries who have limited access to hormone therapies and how collectively that can change.

As a woman in Perimenopause, Tami has personal experience with this stage in her own life. Her frustration with the lack of information and support for women with Perimenopause led her to focus her career and practice on helping women with their Menopause transition and beyond. Geeta was born and raised in India in a traditional household filled with the ancient wisdom of her culture. After the sudden passing of her husband in 2011, Geeta had an awakening and started supporting her body with natural remedies and diet while pursuing deeper healing for trauma.
